Beauty and the Weird...something new!

“Coochie, coochie!” says Mr. Fuzzy Funny Tickle Branch as it readies itself to tickle Mt. St. Helens.

“Hee, hee!” giggles Mt. St. Helens, squirming in antici….pation of being tickled by Mr. Fuzzy Funny Tickle Branch. It’s her favorite thing, to be tickled by a fuzzy funny tickle branch. No branches – fuzzy, funny, tickle or otherwise – have stopped by to tickle her in ages. Not since May 18, 1980, to be exact. You better watch it, Mr. Fuzzy Funny Tickle Branch. You might start an eruption you will NOT be able to contain. You just might get your sorry little fuzzy funny tickle branch ass covered in hot lava, you smart aleck.

Back story:

In May 2020, we hiked around a park from which we had beautiful views of Mt. St. Helens. We didn’t know or remember at the time, but it was only a few more days before the 40th anniversary of this lovely lady blowing her top. She exploded volcanically on May 18, 1980. We caught this fir tree branch teasing the now calm, cool and collected lady volcano.
